Pilot Reports and Observations

  • A display of Pilot Report Observations from around the Antarctic and neighboring regions. The display plots the temperature (in degrees C), aircraft identifier, wind speed and direction as a flag (in knots), signifcant weather, and the flight level (in feet). It is updated every hour. The wind speeds on this product have been corrected.

  • A display of Pilot Report Observations from around the Antarctic and neighboring regions for all hours of the current day (0 UTC to 23:59 UTC). The display plots the temperature (in degrees C), aircraft identifier, wind speed and direction as a flag, signifcant weather, and the flight level (in feet). It is updated every hour.   • New!!A display of Pilot Report Observations over routes between McMurdo Station, Antarctic and New Zealand for all hours of the current day (0 UTC to 23:59 UTC). The display plots the temperature (in degrees C), aircraft identifier, wind speed and direction as a flag, signifcant weather, and the flight level (in feet). It is updated every hour. The winds speeds on this product have been corrected.

  • A listing of today's Air Reports and Pilot Reports in coded form from the US Antarctic Program Flights near the Antarctic. It is updated every hour.

  • A listing of today's Air Reports and Pilot Reports in coded form from US Antarctic Program Flights over the New Zealand Region. It is updated every hour.

  • A listing of today's Air Reports and Pilot Reports of all airlines in coded form from the New Zealand Region . It is updated every hour.

  • A listing of today's Terminal Aerodrome Forecasts in coded form for US Antarctic Program for Williams Field, Pegasus and Ice Runways as well as South Pole. It is updated every hour.
