Jonas V. Asuma joined the AMRC group in the Fall of 2006 as a student hourly. Jonas is a junior currently working on his degree in the Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences. His interests in Atmospheric Sciences include: severe weather, alternative energy sources, and cloud physics with more to come.

Jonas enjoys playing soccer, ultimate frisbee, frisbee golf, basketball, and football. He is also a longtime downhill skier (since second grade). Jonas enjoys playing guitar and listening to a variety of music in his spare time. Jonas enjoys artists such as Andrew Bird, Beck, Broken Social Scene, Bloc Party, Ben Folds, Ben Kweller, The Clash, Eels, Jurassic 5, Phish, Radiohead, Nick Drake, R.E.M., Randy Newman, classic rock, blues, jazz and the like.
