Record Low Antarctic Temperature: -84.6 Degrees Celcius at Dome C on August 26, 1982

Record Low Greenland Temperature: -69.6 Degrees Celcius at Klinck on December 22, 1991

Record Antarctic Maximum Wind Speed: 61.3 meters per second (137 miles per hour) at Minna Bluff on July 10, 2001
